My grandson likes to play with the faucet, climb
on the attached seats, and phone. Right now, I think that he needs to
get a little older for it to hold his attention longer. I placed it
outside along with his other playground toys. He loves the outside, so
staying in one place too long, unless its something he wants to do,
doesn't work for him.
The house is a good size, depending on the height of a child. My grandson has plenty of space to stand and walk around in. I plan to put other items in the house for fun time. I also have colored mats for a cushion feel for the floor. My daughter who is 5'2 sat on the seat and floor with her son inside. Of course she can't stand up in it. The phone could ring a little louder and the doorbell volume is perfect. I decided to tape the doorbell on the house, as to remove it after play. This way if it rains, the doorbell or phone won't be ruined during tough weather conditions. The table as some have said is flimsy. For the price, some of the plastic molding could be stronger in some areas.
I keep the house on our patio for extra support. Actually, it was quite easy to put together, and it didn't take my husband and son a long time. As far as fading possibilities, it hasn't been outside long enough to notice any difference. Also make sure if you plan to place it outside, that it can fit through the door. If its put together first without measuring, you'll have to take a part of it off and finish outside. After all and said, this house is really cute.
